Dates: Friday 15 January, Friday 15 April, Friday 8 July, Friday 30 September
Time: 9:00am - 3:00pm
Format: Children will be given lessons according to the level of the group - rookie players will learn some basic strategies and checkmating patterns, and intermediate/advanced players will learn and practice some more complex tactics and traps to use in their games. Medals will be awarded for the top scorers in the fun tournament. There will be a couple of short breaks during the day, so each child is encouraged to bring along some food and drink.
Cost: $50 per workshop
(Late fee of $10 applies if payment is not received by the Wednesday before each clinic.)
