There are short breaks between rounds.
This tournament is a ‘Swiss’ competition (approximately 7 rounds). This means that all players play 7 games and no-one is ‘knocked out’ of the tournament. The tournament is restricted to players under 18 years of age on the day of the tournament (i.e. players who are aged 17 or less).
The time limit is 10 minutes per player per game.
This tournament will be ACF Quick rated (depending on sufficient numbers of rated players entering).
Medals will be awarded for the top places in each tournament.
